Introduction
The American Bull Dogue de Bordeaux is a hybrid breed dog. They are a combination of the American Bulldog and the Dogue de Bordeaux. This designer dog breed is the result of two very compatible parent breeds. The Dogue de Bordeaux was originally used for cattle driving or guardianship, and the American Bulldog has traditionally been a protector as well as a hunter of large prey. Simply "hide" behind some trees or other structures in your yard and call your pup. They will automatically look for you. Another way to play hide and seek is to gather some old pillows and blankets (make sure these are objects that you don't mind your pup ripping the fabric). Grab some smelly treats or some kibble, place the blankets or pillows over the "treasure," and let your American Bull Dogue de Bordeaux go to work.

The Bulldog has a natural penchant for finding their human. Depending on the trees and structures of your yard, you can actually stimulate your dog's physical body as well as give them some mental stimulation. Simply have your pup sit and stay. One thing is certain about Bulldog breeds, they love to pull and tug. You will need a tough, nylon rope type of toy. Teach your dog first to go fetch. For most Bulldog-related breeds, tug-of-war comes naturally. However, before you combine the two games, you will want to teach your dog to "give." The combination of these simple games will not only entertain your American Bull Dogue de Bordeaux, but keep them healthy both mentally and physically as well.

Go Fetch comes naturally to most all dogs. At first you may want to teach the game with a ball that you can roll in your hallway, for instance. Make sure that you have your dog's attention.
