For example, there is Playa Zicatela in Puerto Escondido where you and your dog can enjoy the ocean water together. Coral Beach, (also known as Playa Mirador II) in Cancun is Latin America's first pet-friendly beach. Not only does the beach welcome your best pal, it is a Blue Flag Beach, meaning it has very high standards for safety and water quality and offers certain services like wheelchair access and environmental management. In the future, a playground for dogs will be included. Known as a great beach for snorkeling, Playa Santa Maria in Cabo San Lucas is also open to dogs.

Free Spirit Dog Park, for example, which is located in Ajijic, Mexico, offers plenty of shade and a water station for pups. The entry is double gated, to ensure the safety of your pup. There is a separate closed area for small and shy dogs to spend time. What makes the park particularly unique is the agility equipment that can be found throughout, which will make a great activity for your pet. Parque de los Perritos, in Guadalajara, is a small dog park, though it provides water bowls for pups, benches for their humans and plenty of shade. Mexico City is home to Parque de los Venados, which includes large fountains, beautiful gardens and a statue of Pancho Villa. Dog obedience classes and pet expos are sometimes held at Parque de los Venados. No matter which park you choose, your pup will have the opportunity to expend some energy and you will have the chance to watch!

Located at the southern tip of the Baja peninsula is the Land's End Arch, which is one of the most famous landmarks of Cabo San Lucas. The area is made up of large rock formations that have been carved into shapes by both the sea and the wind.
