My wife and I received him as a gift when he was about 4 months old. He had been abused and suffered from horrible anxiety. But through lots of love and affection he has come out of his shell and has the biggest personality that he shows more and more of as he gets older.

Highly suspicious of everything new. Barks incessantly at strangers in the house. Will bite if he feels threatened. Can’t trust around small children. He has been highly socialized, but seems to have anxiety issues. Wearing a coat or full length doggy pajamas helps calm him down. Extremely loving and loyal. LAP DOG to the MAX. He wants nothing more than to be with his family. His best friends are cats. He doesn’t bother our chickens, turkeys or guinea pig. He LOVE LOVE LOVES to shred his toys. Super chewer, and destroys all that is his. Best dog ever.

She's hilarious. Super loyal, definitely a mama's girl. Loves playing with the cats and her boyfriend is a fluffy black cat twice her size. Tons of energy and she is possibly the most dramatic creature I've ever seen.Training was a little difficult because she is super strong-willed, but it went well once we found treats she liked. We found her as a stray and we've been in love ever since.

She’s biting a lot and this could be in part because she is teething. She does however bite at your heels and jump up to bite behind your knees when we walk around the house. I believe this is to get attention and possibly she knows that she will get picked up if she does this. She barks at other dogs and sometimes snarls, shows her teeth and nips. She will also do this with her human family (my 7 and 8 year old in particular) and other children when play gets too excitable. She is a lovely lap dog. Sleeps well in her crate at night. Eats and drinks well. Proving to be a bit of a challenge to toilet train.

She's so adorable and has been going really well since we received her. She can already do a couple tricks, mostly potty trained, and knows to stay in our yard. She absolutely hates children though so we're working on that.

Got this little guy a few weeks ago. Everyone always gushes all over him when they see him. Super socialized with humans and loves them. Is nervous of dogs at first. Loves chasing and playing with our cats. Loves playing with our 3 and 6 year old. Proving to be very difficult to bathroom train. We switched gears and are not litter training him. Barks when excited and playing. Otherwise is pretty quiet. A playful nipper, chews and eats everything and anything. A loving companion, who catches onto training quickly (besides toileting) naps a lot, LOTS of energy in between naps.

We got our little guy, that was rescued, from Kansas.He was neglected and had to have 12 teeth pulled.He is very smart and loves his peoples, ALL peoples. He is very quiet and only barks at his toys sometimes. He is very affectionate and loves to sleep under the covers. Wilson is our baby.

At 4-6 months he started becoming very vocal and guarded around strangers and other dogs. Started bringing him to my office daily and 8 days later he's already made a ton of social progress! Plus he gets me out on a lunch time walk.

Sophia is such a joy to have. She is definitely a daddy's girl when it comes to my fiance. My kids love her and keep her on her toes whilst she keeps them on theirs. She is so lovable and a big cuddle bug.

Very protective! Would do anything to ensure our safety. Loves a good bark out the window whenever dos pass by.

He is a rescue, just had to save him. He was on death row so you see his gratefulness. He is funny does weird things , he loves to roughhouse, and loves attention but doesn't really show it like most dogs. He has actually bitten a few dogs Wich has been somthing new. I'm a truck driver so I'm out on the road for a few months at a time and he had alot of adapting to do but has come along way and learned the routine pretty fast. He is a good and is getting set in his ways and has trained me to get use to him Lol. I have some videos of him and pics wish I could show them here. But he is stubborn and sometimes just won't listen but hey we get around that. And he got a big mouth. Great dog though

Just got her couple months ago from neighbor in the building. They didn’t have time for her she was shy at first but after a week we fell n love with her. She loves kids, getting rub all day lol, loves sleeping under the covers. This my first dog & we are blessed to have her.

He's so funny, loyal and cheerful dog. He's a little bit fearful about everything (mailman, dogs, gardener), we love him.

Ive had my Dog since she was a puppy . She loves to cuddle ! She has her own bed but only sleeps with us .. under the covers is her favorite ! Very smart and took a lil to home train. She loves playing fetch and catches on easily!

My Ollie is a scaredy-cat he is scared of everything from motorcycles to Unfamiliar people. But once he gets to know you he is nothing but playing and cuddles he has 2 other small dogs he stays with in our home. He loves fetch walks and all the squeaky toys in the world. He really is my bestfriend although he tests me with trying to pee on the carpet even though he knows he has to go outside. Very hyper but once calm is a huge cuddle bug

Pippin is a wonderful little boy! He’s a very extroverted dog, and is always happy to meet a new face — whether they’re other dogs, people, or even cats! He is extremely friendly and definitely a social butterfly. He particularly loves making the rounds at group gatherings to make sure he gets pets from EVERYONE, and boy, does he like to cuddle. One of his favorite things in the world is just being on the couch and being held. He’s one of those dogs that sees and open hand and puts his head under it to give you the idea he would like some pets, hehe. Pippin is quite smart and picks up on new commands quickly. He’s observant, notices routines, and my husband and I even joke that he’s our other dog’s own “service dog,” as our other dog has epilepsy and he will come get us if she starts having a seizure somewhere. He is seven years old now, and throughout his life, his health has been very good. The only health issues we’ve ever encountered have been tooth problems (he’s had a few removed over the years), which you do tend to see in smaller breeds like chihuahuas and their mixes. Pippin can be protective, particularly if he hears any noises outside of our apartment door, sees people passing by our windows from the inside, or if I’m out on a walk alone with him and we encounter someone acting a little weird or who surprises him. Generally, he’s all bark and no bite in those instances, and we’re working on his leash reactivity. He’s always very friendly, affectionate, and pleasantly curious about guests we have in our home or out in public when we bring him around! This is a wonderful little breed that is very loving, very caring, super cute, charming, and actually quite hilarious. As with ALL dogs, as long as you train them well, they’ll be great additions to your family.

Just adopted Mavis a few days ago, and I don’t know what I did to deserve such a great dog! She’s shy around new people and dogs, but she has warmed up to my sister and her beagle-bulldog after the first day, and now they are best buds, running around the yard and playing in the cutest way. She only barks while playing, otherwise she is quiet as a mouse. She was pretty clingy with me the first couple days, but has since gotten more comfortable being alone. She is incredibly smart, and already knows sit, stay and come! Couldn’t be more proud ☺️
