Bark in the Park
The largest fundraising event of the season for Acadiana Animal Aid, Bark in the Park is an annual community festival at Moncus Park for the entire family to enjoy! Camp Bow Wow 5K
Hosted by its namesake, the annual Camp Bow Wow 5K Fun Run brings dogs and humans of all ages to the River Town Ranch Square to kick off the race! The race will be broken down into several categories for both dogs (size) and their handlers (age) to compete for prizes. For those not wanting to run the full 5K, there is a 1-mile course available. When racers cross the finish line, they are encouraged to enjoy the vendors, food trucks, live music, and dog-friendly activities available. Registration cost is $40 unless you are just looking to do the one-mile course.

The Downtown Dog Crawl indulges the inner voice we hear inside whenever we are out at the bars that whispers, “Man, I wish my dog was here.” Organized by Camp Bow Wow in partnership with Social Entertainment, this bar crawl is crawling with activities and drink specials for all participants and their beloved animals. There will be scavenger hunts, games, and prizes that take you from the starting point, Dat Dog, to four more bars along the way! Due to this event’s popularity, there is a limit to 100 people allowed, so buy tickets as soon as you can for just under $30 after processing fees!
