Canton Farmers' Market
Starting in April and running through to the beginning of October, the Canton Farmers’ Market has been bringing local produce, meats, flowers, and dairy to Downtown Canton for nearly 15 years! Each Saturday, artisanal vendors and farmers set up shop, selling everything you could possibly want to make a fresh meal at home or pick up gifts for a loved one. Leashed dogs are welcome to browse the market, and will surely love to make a pit stop at one of the several pet treat makers present. There are always live music events, children’s activities, and community resource providers present, so start your Saturday off right at the Canton Farmers’ Market!

First Fridays: Gone to the Dogs
On the first Friday of every month from June to December, Canton Arts District becomes a hub of activity for creative minds and local residents. First Friday has a theme that changes every month, and kicks off in June with the theme: Gone to the Dogs. This free event will showcase art, music, dancing, and other outlets influenced by man’s best friend. Dogs are welcome to tagalong; however, they may not be allowed inside certain art galleries. There will be a little something for everyone to find the artist within!

Dog Fest
Hosted in Historic Zoar Village, Dog Fest invites Cantonites and their four-legged loved ones to come on down to Dog Fest for a day of fun. There will be sport demonstrations by Buckeye Dock Dogs, vendors, food, and activities for the pups and the kids. If you’ve got your eye on a prize, this event will host several competitions like a dog-human look-alike contest or a costume contest! Parking is only $5 for the day, so grab your leash and head to Zoar for the weekend.

Get your flower crowns ready and your Camelbak’s filled, Pawchella is coming to Fieldcrest Estate with summertime vibes in tow! There will be music, food, adoption events, and a huge play zone for off-the-leash fun. If you can manage to peel yourself away from the petting zoo and pet-friendly games, there are contests to compete in for prizes. This event is open to all pets of any kind, so long as they are well-behaved and down for a good time. Unlike its namesake, this all day event is free for everyone!
