Have been a professional pet caretaker for over 10 years specifically fostering pets and dog walking while I lived in NYC and California. Volunteered at animal shelters and took a dog training course to better communicate with dogs. I grew up with cats/dogs who have been such a big part of my family’s life. I have experience administering medication and caring for dogs with special needs. Dog walking is such a win/win because we both get to exercise.

Working with dogs for the past 2 years, from rescues, shelters & dogs boarded in training facilities! Experienced with large breeds as well, I love the big babies! I am a dog mom myself to a 2 yr. American staff! She was rescued from a high kill shelter & she’s shaped me into the person I am today. I owe it to help to help other puppers just like her! **Boarding clients- I have extra crates & baby gates through out my home! My property is big enough to maintain dogs separate from other as well!

I have over 20 years of experience owning, caring for and training many dog breeds. I graduated with a BS in Zoology because working with animals has always been a passion of mine. My previous work as a Veterinary Assistant, and current Veterinary Technician school attendance, gives me the insight required to properly care for and respect each dog’s individual needs. Dogs hold a special place in my heart, so I am thrilled to have a job that gives me the opportunity to make them smile everyday.

Growing up in a country town in Northern Michigan I had 12 huskies & dogsledded as a hobby. So as you can tell I grew up with a love for animals and started dog sitting & walking at a very young age. I have worked with dogs of all kinds from Papillons, to Pit Bulls, to Great Danes. There’s none that I haven’t seen. I’m currently a full time dog trainer, the rest of my time is spent sitting & walking. My goals here is to make a new friend with paws & help you keep your best friend safe and happy!

He was my best friend and working on his training taught me many lessons about dog body language, the value of positive reinforcement training, and all things dog! I have experience with clicker training, positive reinforcement, disengage/engage, and have been through several trainings. I have a 2 year old pit/lab mix named Kobe who loves all dogs.
