For a fun day out with your furry friend, you should take a trip to Larz Anderson Park. This is a beautiful place for wandering around, and even features one of the Green Dog Parks for some off-leash fun! During the hours of 9am to 1pm during the summer months, and all day in winter, your pup can run and roam freely here. It is all fenced in, so it is all safe play! This is also a great opportunity to socialize and make new furry friends. You will need a permit to enjoy this park, but this can be purchased from the Town Clerk’s office. The Soule Recreation Center is a pawsome place to bring your pup to stretch his legs. From dawn to 9am, your furry friend can roam off leash and have fun bounding around the place and socializing with other dogs. Be sure your pooch has good recall, as there are areas that are not fenced in here. This area is part of the Green Dog Program run by the Brookline Park and Recreation Commission, meaning another pawsome place for your pup throughout the city! Be sure to bring some water with you and have a dog permit arranged, so you can use this puptastic dog park. There are also plenty of trails around Soule Recreation Center where you can go for a stroll with your pooch, as well as a playground and sports facilities for the kids.
