Located not far from the Old Town, the neighborhood features the hustling and bustling Baltimore Avenue, home to shops and eateries as well as a number of hiking options on the eastern end. Feel free to try your paw at Lake Artemesia Trail, a simple hiking path no more than 2 miles long stretching between Berwyn Heights and Lake Artemesia Natural Area. This trail is a small component of the bigger trail system and suits beginner hikers perfectly. The Indian Path Trail is connected to this trail, and stretches for another 1.5 miles between South of Lake Artemesia and 57th Avenue.
