Defoe Park is in this neighborhood and is a lovely 11-acre park with plenty of outdoor excitement for you and your dogs! The park was once just 3 acres but has grown since 1914. The area was named after Harry Defoe of the Defoe Shipbuilding Company. Dogs are welcome to hang out with their humans in this park as long as they wear their leashes.
