Surrounding the city center is the East Kalispell neighborhood, home to Woodland Park. This pawsome green space offers flower gardens to sniff, a playground to people watch, picnic areas for lunch, and even a lagoon to explore. In winter, the pond offers ice skating, and a warming hut is constructed. For a more rigorous hiking experience, jump on the Great Northern Historical Trail for 22 total miles of a rail to trail experience across Montana. This trail follows US 93, so take it either way for a true outdoor adventure.

Northridge Heights residents truly enjoy living in this neighborhood. It is boasted as one of the best neighborhoods to call home for both humans and their fur balls. Residents spoil their pups by taking them for a walk over to Northridge Park, a huge green space in the neighborhood. Although it does not have any amenities, it offers a large area to run around off-leash. Another park to check out in the neighborhood is Sunset Park, a wide open park with trails to walk around as well. Sunset Park is off leash friendly, so you can both run and stretch your legs freely!

South Meadows is a smaller neighborhood in the city of Kalispell, with a bit of a unique shape to it! This just adds to the enjoyment that residents and their pups get from leashed neighborhood walks. The journey is never boring! South Meadows residents and their pooches enjoy spending time at Begg Park, where the city has recently built a dog park called Paws to Play! The 3.5 designated acres are completely fenced in with separate areas for large and small dogs, and also features waste stations and benches for tired owners! The park asks that all dogs who enter have valid id tags and rabies vaccinations.
