Fairpark is a great place for dogs and dog owners alike! Nestled inside the neighborhood is Cottonwood Park, a large grassy area with gorgeous landscaping and periodic benches for resting. In Cottonwood Park is the Cottonwood Park Off Leash Area, a fully fenced in dog park where your pup can run around off leash to his heart’s content! This area has many trees for shade during those hot summer days. If you follow the Jordan River Parkway Trail southeast, you’ll run right into Constitution Park. This open area is the perfect place for relaxing and spending some one on one time with your favorite pup!

Lindsey Gardens
For dog owners who happen to be located in Lindsey, the Lindsey Gardens Dog Park is the perfect place to get away for the day. This off leash park comes with beautiful grassy areas and tall, mature trees to add shade from the daytime sun. Dogs are free to roam, but do note that this park isn’t fenced in. You should have your dog under verbal command at all times, for the safety of both your dog and others. In the northern end of the neighborhood is Eleventh Avenue Park, a large field with plenty of space. This park runs next to a main road, so be wary of cars passing and keep your pup leashed.

Saint Marys
Saint Marys is a lovely area with plenty to offer. At the northern end is Rotary Glen Park, a beautiful place kept lush by Emigration Creek. This creek runs into a pond that is occasionally occupied by waterfowl. For pups who just need a place to run, Rotary Glen Park plays host to the Rotary Glen Dog Park. This off leash area is perfect for burning energy and making new friends! In the southern bounds of the neighborhood is H-Rock Open Space, a forested area that’s home to the lovely Jacks Peak Trailhead. This path is the ideal place to take your pup for a scenic walk through a natural environment. Your pooch is sure to love it!

Jordan Park
Home to beautiful scenery and a lovely community, Jordan Park is the place to be! Taking up nearly half of this neighborhood is the International Peace Gardens, an absolutely beautiful area that’s host to both open fields and steadfast trees to shade the landscape. Within this park is the Jordan Park Off Leash Area, a fenced in spot where your pups are free to roam without a leash. If you decide to follow the trail along Parley’s Creek, you’ll walk yourself right into Modesto Park, a smaller but quiet area where you can relax and take in the scenic views.

If you’re in town, the City Creek and Western neighborhood is the ideal place to be. This gorgeous area is home to Memory Grove Park, a long stretch of green that features grass, trees, and of course, a running creek to keep everything lush. Numerous trails travel through the most scenic areas of this park, making it the perfect place to take your pup for a walk. If you follow Freedom Trail, you’ll run into the Memory Grove Off Leash Area, where your pup can run with other dogs, and even take a dip in the creek! This area isn’t fenced, so be sure your dog is under verbal command.
