E K St/ N Mckinley St

This neighborhood in the northern part of Casper, is home to two parks. Crossroads Park is full of recreational fields, open fields and a trail for dog lovers. Dogs entering Crossorads must remain on a leash at all times. The park lso fetures water fountains, trash bins, and clean-up stations, and a 2 mile trail that starts at the park and travels along the North Platt River into North Platt Park. This park is also dog-friendly, and is made up of open fields and more trails, perfect for a run or a game of fetch, but no dog amenities.

Paradise Valley

The Paradise Valley neighborhood will become a paradise for you and your dog when you head over to the Morad Park Off-Leash Dog Area. The 5.2 acre plot is not fenced-in, but is entirely open with gorgeous rolling fields and access to the North Platt River, where dogs can go for a leisurely swim. Owners must clean up after their dogs with their own clean-up bags, but the park does provide benches and picnic tables. The park also has access to a dog-friendly trail, the Platt River trail, where dogs are welcome on a leash.

S Poplar St/ Hawthorne Ave

The South Poplar Street and Hawthorne Avenue neighborhood boasts two of their own dog-friendly parks. Adams Park is the perfect option if you want a small, quiet place to play with your leashed dog, with an open field for a game of ball. Humans and their dogs can enjoy the peaceful scenery and the sounds of Garden Creek. Besides trash bins and benches, there are no dog amenities. The South Mike Sedar Park is south of Adams Park and is the better option for a stroll, as it has a long trail that goes around the park, with more dog amenities such as water fountains and clean-up stations.

West Garden Creek

The West Garden Creek is known for Garden Creek, a small creek that winds through the neighborhood. Along one patch of the stream is Nancy English Park, a long, dog-friendly park that's mostly made up of lush green trees and open fields. The park is relatively quiet, and a favorite spot in the neighborhood for it's Garden Creek Greenway, a trail that follows along the creek throughout the park. Dogs must remain leashed while at the park, and be cleaned up after.  There's a few benches and trash bins, but no clean-up stations and only one water fountain.

Meadowlark Hills

Meadowlark Hills is a circular neighborhood in south Casper, with Meadowlark Park right in the center. The park is dog-friendly to all leashed-dogs, and offers two large greenways, perfect for a good run or a game of fetch. Be prepared though; there are no water fountains or clean-up stations. Afterards, head down the street and enjoy some grub at J's Pub and Grill and chill on one of the two outdoor patio benches that also allow dogs. Free water is available to dogs upon request and even have some items on the menu that aren't only safe, but delicious for your dog!
