Olde Western Avenue runs on both the east and west side of Western Avenue. This is where you will find some of the historic buildings and landmarks that this area is known for. This is a small historic district with plenty of shops and things to see. However, you will not find a shop here that is dog-friendly indoors. In addition, there are open green spaces to the south where Western Avenue and Olde Western Avenue come together. These open spaces would a be a great place to rest weary paws but you should not let your dog run off-leash in any of these areas as they are bordered by roads that can be heavy with traffic.
