Main Street Garden Urban Dog Run

Main Street Garden Urban Dog Run is located within the family-friendly park bearing the same name in Dallas, Texas. This downtown park earns high marks from visitors for its central location and pristinely maintained grounds. Main Street Garden Urban Dog Run offers a fully fenced space measuring 7,082 meters squared where dogs can engage in off-leash exercise, appropriate socialization, and general play. 

Though many dog parks now offer sections reserved for use by small, senior, or shy dogs, Main Street Garden Urban Dog Run currently does not have one on the premises. However, all dogs are warmly welcomed to join in the fun in the one on-premise dog playground. The family-centric Main Street Garden also boasts of a large grass area. 

Dogs are permitted access to this section of Main Street Garden, but they must remain on a lead here as well as in all other areas of the park in accordance with Texas state by-laws. Main Street Garden Urban Dog Run is a public dog play haven, and park officials are pleased to offer access to their property free of charge. The dog run itself is lined with concrete, a surface that makes for easy clean up of any pet waste materials. 

It is unknown if complimentary poop bags are housed on the grounds, but park officials expect all owners to display responsible pet ownership by cleaning up after their dogs. Drinking water is provided in the dog run to help keep Fido and his favorite canine pals well-hydrated. Also found in the run is comfortable seating in shaded areas for owners to enjoy as well as some concrete agility equipment to provide some mental and physical stimulation for all dogs. 

Bathrooms are available for public use via port-a-potties. Main Street Garden's 1.75-acre space offers many amenities for families to enjoy. Among the recreational opportunities are Wifi, a large lawn space, a playground, fountains, City Park Cafe, and public art exhibitions. There is also a small splash pad where kids can cool off on hot summer days. The park receives high accolades for its quaintness as well as for its clean and well-manicured grounds. 

Main Street Garden is also home to many festivals, events, and food trucks, making it an exciting place to be year round. Though no officially posted rules govern the use of this park space, it is highly recommended that all dogs be current on vaccinations.
