American Horror Story Dog Names

We all know that dogs can get us out of the darkest of times and that they can have a therapeutic role in our lives. We also know that having a four legged furry companion can make even the scariest of situations easier, and can make the loneliness go away. Additionally, we know that dogs are our best friends who will love and protect us whatever happens, and for that we must be grateful. And so was Vivien Harmon who got sweet little Hallie after her miscarriage in an attempt to mend her heart, heal her soul, and avoid having to repair the broken relationship with her husband Ben. Vivien gives all the love and affection to the lovely Hallie and grows very fond of her, just as we all would if we were in a similar situation.

However, things are not as simple in the world of American Horror Story. Hallie’s appearances are focused on season 1, also known as Murder House, and she is portrayed by the cute Lambchop. In season 1, we follow the lives of the Harmon family. They move in to a beautiful house with a, let’s say, questionable past, but still decide to stay there and try to rebuild their family after a horrible cheating scandal Ben had. Soon after, strange things start happening around the house, all of which point to the presence of spirits trapped on the premises for eternity.

Hallie proves herself useful right from the start. She begins barking when she senses an unwanted presence in the house, first of which was most likely Infantata, or Thaddeus Montgomery, a very scary “person”, who is actually a reanimated human, built or, shall we say, crafted from the remains of a child. If this was not creepy enough, Infantata is not even a ghost, but a creature that is still alive and survived by eating small animals such as rats, possums, and insects to live. Therefore, it is safe to say that Hallie’s barks saved her owner Vivien from a serious heart attack at least once.

Sweet little Hallie has an equally cute name to follow. Her name is of English origins and is quite popular in the English speaking world today. Other variations might include Hayley and Haylee, but whichever one you gravitate towards the most, know that at least one brave dog bears that name.
