But that's not to say that there aren't good-natured people all over the world. People who will see these strays and offer help, even in small ways. However they can help, they often do, even if it's just buying a bottle of water to put in a pail for local stays to drink from.

One such stray dog hails from Bangkok, Thailand, and his name is none other than Rambo. But this pooch isn't running and gunning, he's actually just relaxing on the sidewalk by some shops. The big Thai shopping mall known as MBK Centre is known for its lavish store openings often involving red carpet entrances and the like. Plenty of fresh flowers. And yet, Rambo is hellbent on always being right near the entrance, where the action happens. Fitting, some might say.

He's scruffy, and covered in scabby wounds from street fighting with other dogs over food scraps, but he's mainly just trying to relax by the mall. The good news is that people tend to be kind to Rambo. It's his hangout spot, so people tend to know him, especially security guards. Whenever they need him to move, just in time for some high-powered executive to show up, they often buy him meat on a stick from a local vendor, and bribe him to move. Of course, Rambo listens, eats the meat, and stays away until the time comes to roll up the carpet again.

And the guards aren't the only ones. Some passersby will often buy street noodles or other dishes to purposefully feed the stray pooch. And as a result, he's a perfectly healthy weight. He even has his own "Rambo MBK Dog" fan page, and some heart-shaped sunglasses given to him by one of his many fans. It just goes to show that although people may be poor in some parts of the world, where living just doesn't come easy, even the stray dogs can still get their much-deserved food, attention, and love.
