Burmese Language Dog Names

Have you ever dreamed of escaping the cold winter months to bask in the sun during a tropical vacation? Well, our spotlight dog of the day, Moe, certainly has! This lovable mutt is the main character in a book called Moe the Dog; Tropical Paradise. The Burmese language name "Moe" actually means "rain" and there is no doubt that it is a well fit name for the pup in this book. Moe is a sweet, calm, innovative dog who wants to go above and beyond to make sure that his friends have a great vacation from work; even despite the terribly cold weather. 

This cute story is for children ages 4-8 (although it could be enjoyed by anyone) and begins by showing Moe and his Springer Spaniel friend, Arlene, working in their shop called the Frozen Cow Ice Cream Company. This particular day, Moe and Arlene are given a week's worth of vacation due to the fact that it is blizzarding outside and not many people are making their way into the Ice Cream shop. Because of this, the pair of dogs decide that they really want to go somewhere tropical to warm up, but it seems utterly impossible thanks to the horrible weather conditions. 

While Arlene resides to the fact that the only excitement they'll experience on this vacation is some frostbite and chilly wind, Moe has a different outlook on the situation. Instead of sitting around and sulking about the snow and ice outside, he gathers together some deck chairs, a little wading pool, some pineapples, and a lot of paint. With these tools at his disposal, Moe begins to create his own tropical paradise; right inside his own home!  With just these simple touches, Moe is able to transform himself from a hard working pup to a laid back hound in no time. 

Being able to think outside the box and find the silver lining to any dark cloud is definitely a skill that everyone should try to master. Dogs seem to be particularly wonderful at this, as no matter how dark the situation, they still can wag their tails and be there for us humans. If you are someone that owns a dog like "Moe", who is a quick thinker and happy in any situation, then a name such as this is one to consider. This name represents the happier more comforting side of rain, and we love it!
