Dog Names Ending in go

Are you a surfer? Mango from England sure is! This fun-loving Labrador Retriever from Cornwall has been riding the waves with her owner, Matt Slater since she was about two years old and she is good at it! You can typically find Matt and Mango at Holywell Bay Beach in Newquay, Cornwall where the waves can reach up to seven feet high. 

At least every other weekend, Matt, who is a marine biologist, and Mango take to the waves with her riding on the end of the board steady as can be. In fact, she loves it so much; you can see her wagging her tail the whole time she is out there. Matt said that he decided to bring her out on his board because she kept following him into the ocean. 

Although Matt only lets Mango surf on days that the waves are not too rough and limits her to about a half an hour, he never stops her from jumping on board when she wants to. In fact, she even surfs with Matt’s two children, 13-year-old Daisy, and 10-year-old Toby. If you ask her, Mango will tell you that she was born to surf. 

Another famous Mango is Mango the Chorkie, which is an adorable blend of Chihuahua and Yorkshire Terrier. Mango was found by a passing motorist on the side of the road in Fort Worth, Texas and was apparently hit by a vehicle. The police were called in to help, and the officer tried to coax her out of the ditch, but she would not come. When he got to her, he realized she probably could not come because of her injuries. 

Mango was rushed to an animal hospital where they found that her back was broken in three places and her back legs just did not work. She seemed friendly enough, so they placed her in a shelter to recover and find a home. However, after a certain amount of days, the shelter euthanizes dogs that don’t get adopted, and Mango was on the short list. 

When "Emma’s Cleft Palate Chihuahua Rescue" saw that she was in danger of being put down, they took her and trained her to be a therapy dog because of her love for life. Soon she was spotted by Judy Walter, a military veteran who had adopted from there before. In 2014, Mango went to live with Judy and her four other Yorkies. 

The little pooch tried so hard to keep up with her furry siblings, but she couldn’t because of her back legs. So, Judy got a wheelchair from "Ruff Rollin’ Wheelchairs for Dogs," and she loved it! In fact, it was so popular on her Facebook page that she began a fundraising project for people who cannot afford wheels for their furbabies.
