Dog Names Ending in k

Squeak, a 14-year old Jack Russell Terrier, had been at the side of his master since puppy hood, refused to be separated from Terry until law enforcement loaded Ford's corpse into a tin coffin.  The picture of Squeak curled up next the dead body of his master was published in the newspapers and magazines, generating hundreds of phone calls to the Zimbabwean SPCA inquiring as to the condition of the faithful little dog.  Squeak, alive and unhurt, was given to Terry Ford's girlfriend who took over his care and protection.  Terry also had two Border Collies who were taken by the SPCA and turned over to other friends of the family.  

At the funeral, Squeak was permitted to follow the coffin up the aisle of the church beside Ford's girlfriend and his family.  He was among the thousand people who attended the funeral and he sat quietly in the lap of Ford's girlfriend during the service.  The tears flowed freely when, at the end of the service, this devoted and faithful little Terrier named Squeak walked up to the casket containing the remains of his beloved master and sniffed it, then he proceeded to the church garden.  Such was the love and faithfulness of this little Terrier to his beloved, now deceased master.  

Squeak surely deserves a place of honor in the annals of history, as he embodies the sentiment and the predicament which exists for pets, especially during turbulent periods of time in the areas in which they live.  Animals suffer sometimes far worse than we humans when times get tough and normal living becomes dangerous, seemingly being easily "cast off" like an old pair of shoes when the homes are torn apart and their pet parents can no longer keep and care for them, circumstances sometimes just making it impossible for their beloved human family to care for and protect them.
