DotA Dog Names

When playing Defense of the Ancients, the most important element of the game is definitely the heroes. Each of these heroes has a distinct skill set and capacities that can help propel your team to a win. One of the hundreds of heroes in DotA is Magnus. Also known as the Magnoceros, this creature is a monstrous strength hero with the ability to take on multiple heroes all at once. When used in a team setting, Magnus is an absolute wrecking ball that can cause a lot of damage.

Magnus is also the name of the English Bulldog owned by Hollywood celebrity Dylan Sprouse, one half of the Sprouse twins who rose to fame in the Disney show The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Growing up as a child star, it is no surprise that Dylan Sprouse has been famous for most of his life. As an adult, he has also starred in numerous other films, including That High and Lonesome Sound, Dismissed, and Carte Blanche.

Like most celebrities of his caliber, Dylan Sprouse also has a significant following on social media. That is why when he first posted a photo of an adorable English Bulldog pup, most of his fans and followers were curious to know more about the cute four-legged creature. The pooch, named Magnus, is Dylan’s best friend who is often featured in his personal accounts. Aside from that, the dog has his own Instagram account that is filled with delightful photos coupled with funny captions. According to Dylan, his dog “demanded” his own account and that he could not help but to oblige. To date, Magnus has over 120,000 followers on his account, which makes him an Internet star and nearly as popular as his furdaddy.

Dylan and Magnus's relationship is just as solid as any other bond between owner and dog. Dylan’s love for his furbaby is also evident in his posts. In fact, when Magnus turned one, Dylan threw a huge doggy birthday bash to commemorate the occasion. The celebration was filled with a lot of eating, playing, snuggling and sleeping, which sounds like the perfect birthday for any dog.

Another canine with a DotA-related name is the slain K9 officer named Axe. A part of the St. Clair Shores Police Department, Axe was killed on November 4, 2018 in the line of duty. After officers responded to a 911 call about a man who is carrying a gun outside the hall of a banquet where a baby shower was being held. When the officers arrived at the scene of the crime, they found the man in question, who attempted to flee. Axe pursued the suspect but was shot. His handler, Officer Tom Price, rushed Axe to the veterinary hospital but was too late. The community has come together and held a memorial for Axe, whose bravery potentially saved the lives of those present in the banquet.
