Harold Reginald Williams the Havanese is the best friend of Venus Williams, one of the sisters made famous by their pawesome ability to whack a ball with a racket. Yes, this tennis star got her pooch, who she nicknamed Harry, in 2007 and he is still her best friend, according to those who are closest to her. In fact, Harry even helps Venus with designing her clothing line and her new line, Hari, is named after her ball of fur. It’s true; he really helped her pick out certain colors and patterns for her new line. 

Harry also goes along with his tennis star mom Venus to all of her matches, including the U.S. Open, even though it caused a controversial uproar at the time. Needless to say, dogs are now allowed in certain parts of the U.S. Open, thanks to Venus. Unofficially, that is. According to officials, dogs are still not allowed on the grounds. In a recent American Express commercial, Harry was Venus’ costar, and he did great. What a cute pup he is! Although he is over ten years old now, he still looks and acts like a puppy and stays in shape by hanging out with mom Venus in the gym while she works out. Many have said that Harry has even jogged along on his own treadmill right next to his famous tennis momma. 

Some of Harry’s favorite things to do include chasing squirrels, chewing on rawhide, watching mom play tennis, and sleeping. Lots of sleeping. He has his own bed in mom’s room and sleeps there most nights when she is home. When they are traveling, Venus brings his bed along, but he usually ends up in the bed with mom anyway. Cuddle time is another favorite pastime for Harry. And eating, he loves to eat.
