Oslo Dog Names

Is there a more appropriate famous dog with an Oslo-related name than a dog that actually bears the name of this city? We think not! Therefore, the star of the day is the amazing Oslo, a black hound from the anime and manga Nanatsu no Taizai, or otherwise known as The Seven Deadly Sins. Oslo, the black hound, is the pet of King, he has green and yellow fur, is covered in scars, and has a short tail. His teeth are big and sharp, and he grows in size when he feels threatened, but shrinks back to a small doggo when he feels safe.

Oslo is quite violent and determined when hunting his prey. He will not give up until his victim is eliminated, but when It comes to his owner, King, he is quite submissive and even cute, often acting like a regular puppy when he is around King. He was born after Gloxinia joined the Ten Commandments, but it was never shown how exactly he came to King’s side and became his pet. However, what was explained is that the pair knew each other for many years before they met the Seven Deadly Sins, back in the Fairy Realm.

In the manga, Oslo managed to defeat Andre, the apprentice of the Holy Knight, because Andre and his partner were determined on attacking the Sins. In the Kingdom Infiltration arc, Oslo is summoned by King through a portal, which revealed Oslo’s power of teleportation, as well as his love of pork! He teleports Diane to Liones, who then gets attacked by the Holy Knights, however, Oslo manages to fight off the enemies, but ultimately needs his owner’s help in this battle. In the arc Memories of the Holy War, Oslo is seen returning to Fairy King’s Forest with his owner. He attacks Gerheade but is stopped by Gloxinia who tells him that Gerheade is no longer an enemy and that he does not need to worry about him.

All of this shows just how loyal and powerful Oslo is. He is quite fast and agile, he is strong, he can change size, and he is merciless when it comes to defending his owner, just like many doggos around the world are. He also has the power of teleportation, as well as another interesting ability. Oslo can swallow anything and transport it to a different location through some kind of magic, which, let’s face it, can be very useful when moving or saving on postage stamps!
