Sword Art Online Inspired Dog Names

Originally, before Sasha was stationed in Afghanistan, she was the partner of Marianne Hay who had to give up the dog after feeling that they had become too close. This wouldn't be hard to do thanks to Sasha's wonderful personality, however, being close to a bomb detection dog is unwise considering how dangerous the job can be. Because of this, Sasha was reassigned to Kenneth Rowe and they went to work in Afghanistan under the command of the Royal Army Veteran Corps in 2008. While there, Sasha 15 confirmed finds of weapons such as mortars, mines, ammunition, and other hidden explosives. On top of being a very skilled bomb detector, Sasha was also a very well liked dog due to her personality. She enjoyed chasing feral cats around in her spare time and always was able to boost the morale of the soldiers when she was around. 

Sadly, like many amazing dogs who serve in the military, Sasha's life was cut short when she and her handler were attacked by ambush. Shot by a sniper, it was surprising when Sasha was able to make her way back to Kenneth. Sasha and Kenneth had stayed a day longer than originally planned as there was no other dog detection team on hand at the moment. This choice ultimately provided extra safety for their team, but cost the pair their lives in the end when the ambush used an assault of rocket-propelled grenades on their location. Kenneth Rowe and his faithful dog, Sasha's, bravery certainly earned their awarded metals. There is no doubt that their sacrifice will always be remembered by those that knew them.
