Tinker Bell Inspired Dog Names

Although Bolt's breed isn't mentioned in the film, the Disney developers have stated that he is designed after a white German Shepherd. Thanks to his large ears and big, bushy tail, it seems like this breed choice is definitely spot on. When it comes to personality, Bolt is a very determined, loyal, and intelligent dog; all things that line up well with the average German Shepherd breed. Even the fact that Bolt is used as an actor matches up with what we know of German Shepherds! The intelligent breed has frequently been used for acting roles in the past, such as for the dog in Rin Tin Tin and Doctor Dolittle. 

In his long journey across the United States, Bolt learns a few big revelations about himself. He has to deal with separation anxiety when he is first taken away from Penny and learn to think on his feet in the "real world". After that, Bolt is forced to get along with other animals, which is truly a challenge as he has been isolated his whole life on a TV set and has never had to rely on anyone else for help before. Finally, the last challenge that Bolt has to face is when he needs to overcome a large fire that is threatening the life of Penny. This is a huge moment for him as he has recently discovered that the powers he once believed to exist, were all a lie. In the thick of things, Bolt must rely on his own strength to save himself and his friends. This movie does a great job of capturing the bravery and intelligence of the German Shepherd, while also showing just how wonderful the loyalty and love of a pet can be. 
Even though Bolt is a pretty cool dog, he may not be quite as cool as Paris Hilton's dog Tinkerbell. Sporting the name of our favorite fairy in green, Tinkerbell was a Chihuahua who was adopted by Paris Hilton after the star saw (and thoroughly enjoyed) the movie Legally Blonde. This luxurious pooch was born in Athens, Greece on October 31 (2001). Shortly after, she was adopted by Paris and never left her side from that day onward. As can be imagined, being the pet of Paris Hilton had it's ups and downs, but we are sure that Tinkerbell enjoyed every moment of it. She passed away on April 21, 2015 and has been sorely missed by Paris ever since. In fact, the star even created an Instagram page dedicated to her beloved Tinkerbell.
