Lake Superior is known for year-round cold waters. The lake has dramatic changes with the wind and weather. You may find deep pleasure in watching the waves and soaking in the fresh, cool air from the waters. A swim in Lake Superior is best described as "refreshing".
This natural area is a retreat for those who appreciate the outdoors. There are trails for walking and exploring nature. Always keep your dog on a leash to protect both your pet and wildlife in the area. Walking paths will mark your way to points of interest.

The restroom facilities are portables. There is electricity provided for the campsites. Reservations requirements and fees may vary by site, tent or vehicle, party size, and events in the area.
