Kawaikui Beach Park

Ready to tackle a pawrific new adventure with your best canine pal? Why not stop by Kawaikui Beach Park? It's a terrierific spot to take your doggo for some fun in the sun! This pawsitively awesome sandy retreat is easy to miss if you're not quite sure what to look for. You will find it just off the Kalanianaole Highway before Hawaii Kan, near the Aina Haina Shopping Center. 

You can bring your pupperoni to join you in Kawaikui Beach Park, but when on the beach, keep them below the high tide zone. Be sure to pack Fido's leash as this beach requires all pooches to be on a lead during their seaside adventure! 

This pawrific beach is very spacious, giving lots of room for you and your best canine pal to get in a good run or walk along the shore. There is lots of shade, as well as areas with lots of grass where you and your main canine squeeze could have a barking great time playing fetch or tug. 

To be sure you have everything you need for your day of beach fun, bring along the essentials from home including drinking water, cleanup bags, and snacks. Kawaikui Beach Park has lots of picnic tables, so you can even enjoy a packed lunch from home with your canine sidekick along for company. Bring a snack or two for Fido to enjoy as well. 

This beach is rather narrow, and there is not a lot of sand, so sunbathing isn't a great activity here, but strolling by the furrific water's edge definitely is! The water is extremely shallow at this beach, so swimming is permitted, but not encouraged. You will find there are doggone amazing views to be seen from the shore of Kawaikui Beach Park, so have your camera on hand to capture some gems!
