Description

The legendary city of Cheyenne is alive with the cowboy spirit and home to AB Campground and RV Park, a popular stopover or base to explore the Wild West ambiance this city presents.

You can expect a friendly welcome when you check in to this stylish campground with full RV hook-ups to electricity (20/30/50 amp), water, and sewer, plus access to cable TV and the internet. Pitch a tent on a cozy, grassy space allocated for campers who love to sleep under the stars or pay the daily rate of $46 for a full RV site.

The tempting aroma of barbecue ribs and homemade pie draws the crowds from far and near to this appealing park with gravel RV pads and a layout that offers privacy from neighbors. Mature trees keep you cool in a quiet setting, and pull-through and back-in sites feature a picnic table and fire ring.

AB Campground is a family affair with hands-on staff who offer a playground for the kids and a restaurant with a mouthwatering menu that keeps folks talking. Restrooms, showers, and a laundry are always clean, and if you need propane or other camping supplies, the park store has a good assortment of groceries, souvenirs, and things you might need for the RV.

Before you leave home, pack plenty of waste bags as this campground is super pet-friendly and has two fenced dog runs so pooches can run around off-leash. Outside of the RV or dog park, you must keep furry pals on a leash and pick up their waste. Dogs need to be supervised and play nice with other pups and campers.

AB Campground and RV Park is a gateway to the historic city of Cheyenne, a name synonymous with American cowboy movies and the infamous Buffalo Bill. Back in the Wild West heyday, Cheyenne was home to characters like Calamity Jane and Wild Bill Hickok. Today, the annual Cheyenne Frontier Days can draw up to 20,000 rodeo fans each July, which is a busy time for this pawpular RV park! The Cheyenne Depot Museum celebrates a fascinating railway history you can check out when you stay at this revered RV park where folks come just for the delicious food.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
