Cabela's RV Park

Cabelas RV Park is located in Sidney, Nebraska. They have 59 spaces catered to RVs, folding tent campers, and tents. They also let you bring your pooch along, so there’s no need to leave them at home.

This site is owned by Cabela’s and is just north of one of their showrooms. There are restrooms and showers available at the site. However, there are no campfire rings and no open fires allowed. As far as specs for the RV sites, some of the sites are shaded and only 31 slots have full hookups. There are also electric-only and water-only spots available, as well. There are barbecues and tables at each site, and there are big rig sites as well as a dedicated tent camping area.

Some of the services they have on site include cable, RV supplies, laundry, and fishing supplies. Outside, there is a playground for kids to enjoy as well as horseshoe pits to have a game with friends. There are also corrals where horses can stay, if you plan on bringing your hoofed family members too!

As mentioned, your pooch is allowed to join you - hooray for that! However, the rules state that your pup must be “leashed and quiet.” They do have an off-leash pet area on-site, along with some kennels for dogs to use. However, you may not leave your dog unattended at any time. When you stay anywhere, it’s always important to clean up after your dog, so be sure to bring a few bags to make cleanup more easy and sanitary. Other good items to bring would be bedding, treats, toys, food, and anything else your pooch might need to have a good time.
