Hartman Creek State Park

Hartman Creek State Park is located on the Chain O' Lakes in Wisconsin. The area is typically quiet, and it is a great place to enjoy some quality time with nature. Campers love visiting the area to escape the noise of life in the city or suburbs. With hiking trails and quiet fishing spots, it is a great place to spend some time without the worry of the developed world.

The campgrounds are home to restrooms with pit toilets and showers. There is also a water fill-up station on site. If you need ice, that is also available at the campgrounds. Some areas are handicap accessible as well. Picnic areas are also located in the area for those who wish to use them.

Campers enjoy that the campgrounds are so close to the lake, where fishing and swimming are common activities. Many guests take boats out on the lake. There is a boat rental station for those who wish to take a boat out but don't own one themselves. Nature lovers will enjoy the nearby hiking trails as well as the nature center. Bike trails are also in the area.

Dogs are welcome at Hartman Creek State Park, but owners are required to keep their dogs on a leash that is no longer than six feet at all times. Owners need to make sure that their dogs don't bother other guests and only swim in designated areas. Additionally, owners need to clean up after their dogs.

If you wish to camp at Hartman Creek State Park, you may want to arrive early as most sites are first-come, first-serve during the camping season. All of the other camping sites will be closed if they aren't reserved. Camping is allowed all year if you are in an RV. Tent camping is limited to April through November each year.
