The campground has seven sites you can choose from, and there are three kinds of sites: group tent-only and equestrian nonelectric sites cost $25 per night, and equestrian electric sites cost $35. Amenities at the campground include an amphitheater and a group fire pit.

Maple Springs Campground is typically accessed by the Green River Ferry located near the

There are lots of activities near the campground that allow you to explore the area’s amazing natural features. You can check out some of the dog-friendly, on-leash trails near the campground for a short stroll or a challenging hike—whichever you like! One popular trail is Turnhole Bend Trail. This out-and-back trail stretches six miles through the woodlands, and it is an easy trail that lends itself to hikers of all skill levels. Veteran hikers might want to try Mammoth Cave Park Long Loop. This moderate-difficulty loop trail covers just over 16 miles, and it even passes by a cave! If you’re just looking to get out and stretch your legs with your woofer, head to Sloan’s Crossing Pond Trail—it’s just under half a mile, and it circles around a scenic pond.

Remember to keep your dog on-leash at the campground, and make sure to clean up after your furry friend too!
