Pecan Grove RV Park

You may enjoy having a stop at the Pecan Grove RV Park. The pecan trees were planted in 1903 and they are scattered across this campground, that includes sites for RVs, tents, and offers cabins for rent. The park has many amenities for campers. Here you will find over 42 overnight pads with 30 and 50 Amp hook-ups. There is a camp gift store on site and a convenience store within walking distance. 

Children can play on the playground, but note the grounds have gravel which is not as resilient to rain as pavement. If you like to boat or fish, you will enjoy the access to the natural Lake Chicot, boat launch, and fish cleaning station. The lake is stocked with White Perch, Crappie, Brin, Striped Bass, Wide Mouth Bass, and Catfish. The area celebrates the seasons with festivals such as the Sunflower Festival, Bluegrass, Delta Storytelling Festival, and summer music festivals. You may choose to visit local attractions such as the B.B. King Museum or the Lakeport Plantation. 

The cabins for rent have beds and are equipped with a kitchen, sitting room, and bedroom. There are four one-bedroom, two two-bedroom, and two three-bedroom cabins for rent. You can check the website for availability and make reservations. Persons who love history, nature, and the south will find there are things to explore that will captivate your curiosity. The cemeteries in the region hold many stories and secrets of the past and you may enjoy making rubbings of gravestones or tracing the people who once lived in the area. If you are a birdwatcher, there are areas known for spotting our feathered friends. 

Dogs are allowed at this park. Be a good neighbor and clean up after Fido so the next dog and owner can enjoy the grounds. When camping, it is always a good idea to keep your dog on a leash when outside. Check with the office before you travel if you are planning to rent a cabin with a dog.
