Sherwood Forest RV Park is a campground for those looking to pitch a tent or stay in an RV with their pooch at a scenic lakeside destination in Palm Harbor, Florida. This campground is sure to leave you with a pawsitive feeling thanks to the amenities and activities that will enhance your stay.

Sherwood can meet the needs of all kinds of campers, including canines! All sites cost only $45 per night, with both weekly and monthly rates available. Sites are for RVs, other camping vehicles (fifth wheels, pop-up trailers), and tents. Sites also come with full hookup services, including water, sewage, and electricity (both 30 and 50 amps). Laundry services and RV storage are other perks offered at Sherwood.

Although there’s no designated dog area for your pooch at this campground, there’s loads of parkland for you and your pooch to explore together. While walking through the campground, you're asked to have your dog on a leash no longer than six feet. You must tidy up after your dog right away, no matter where you are in the park. The only time your pup should be off-leash is when inside of your camper home or tent. Aggressive and loud dogs are not permitted and may be asked to leave. Please note there are breed restrictions, so call ahead before booking to ensure your pooch can tag along.

Being on Florida's Gulf Coast also makes this campground the perfect base camp for you and your pup. Make the most of your visit by swinging by one of the dog-friendly beaches in the area, such as Davis Island Dog Beach. Davis Island is only an hour away in Tampa. At Davis Island, your pooch can swim in the ocean or catch some rays while relaxing in the sand.

If you'd prefer to stay at the campground, there’s plenty of activities for you to partake in. A recreation hall and pavilion are both areas where planned events are hosted. There’s also a swimming pool and a lake where you can fish or boat. A boat storage area is available for your convenience. Other recreational activities include hiking, biking, and marveling at the scenic water views.
