Tom Sawyer's RV Park

Just as Tom Sawyer explored the Mississippi River, you, too, can take in the natural wonders of this rolling river and surrounding region. The Tom Sawyer's RV park has a bit of a rustic and country feel. There are primitive tent sites. For the RV owner, there are concrete and gravel sites located both in the woods and by the river.  The park includes the expected amenities. There are laundry and television access provided. 

The management has rules for the safety and comfort of all campers and visitors to the grounds. The park is located on the river. You can watch the boats and traffic traveling along the water. Visitors describe the sounds of the tub boats passing by. Bring your rod and plan to catch a catfish. 

With the joy of the water, there are also the inconveniences. The river has flooded and there are times during the year, particularly during winter and spring, when the park may have to close due to the flooding. The park website has information about the weather and flooding that you will need to check to make sure the grounds will be open and in condition for your visit. 

Remember that while you are in West Memphis, you are near Memphis and that means that you are a drive away from ribs, the Blues, and a city with a rich American history. You are not that far away from Graceland.  There are also groceries and restaurants nearby.

Pets are welcome here! The park requires pets to be leashed, and never leave your Fido unsupervised. There is a walking path that circles the perimeter of the park. It is important to clean up after your pet for the safety and convenience of those who will visit the park after you.
