Trapper Creek Inn & RV Park

Located halfway between Denali and Anchorage, the Trapper Creek RV Park and Campground is one of the prime campground locations on the National Parks Highway. This is a destination spot for genuine Alaskan lodging in either the inn section or the RV park. This park will offer you and your pup a comfortable place to stay as well as stunning views of Denali. 

The campground offers fuel, coin-operated showers, travel information, and a Trapper cafe. There's access to internet, pay phones, dry sites, deluxe sites, free dump and water tank refill, and over 30 wooded sites that can fit large RVs, small pop-ups, and more! If interested, you can make reservations for cabins (single rooms or deluxe rooms), flat screen TVs, and fully equipped kitchens. 

The best part about this campground is that your pup is welcome to join you on your Alaska adventure. With no additional pet fee, your dog is welcome to be one of the crew over at the Trapper Creek RV Park. There are a few rules that you and your dog will need to abide by - not just to stay in line with the RV Park's regulations, but to keep you and your dog safe. 

For starters, your dog will have to stay leashed at all times. While there's no listed leash max length, we suggest keeping your pup at a maximum of 8 feet in order to keep proper control of your pet. Never allow your dog to wander, and if you plan to walk with your pooch, be prepared with bear spray. Ensure your dog is good with voice commands or with leashed commands - if not, we don't recommend taking your dog on a walk through the Alaska wilderness. Always clean up after your dog immediately. This helps keep the campground clean, but also keeps wild animals away from the area.
