Doctor's Dog Park

Doctors' Dog Park is located in Apopka, Florida. This dedicated dog play space offers a run that is fully fenced and suitable for off-leash play. The enclosure measures 750 feet by 300 feet and affords dogs plenty of space to run and roughhouse with other dogs. The play areas are primarily comprised of grass. Though the play spaces are designated off-leash zones, owners are required to carry a lead with them at all times in case of an emergency. Dogs are also to remain on a leash when traveling to and from the play enclosures and in all other public areas.

Access to this public park is free of charge. It is unknown if bathroom facilities are available on site. Benches are scattered throughout the dog play areas to provide a quiet and shaded spot for a respite from the heat of the sun. Owners may leisurely relax here and enjoy an ideal vantage point from which to observe their dogs at play. Other on-site amenities including a pet bathing station and water spigots to ensure that Fido remains both clean and well-hydrated. 

One notable attraction is a pet memorial bridge which pays homage to beloved pets who have since passed on. It is not known if complimentary poop bags are available on the premises. However, owners are required by law to carry bags to pick up and properly dispose of all canine waste materials in a prompt fashion.

Though no specific regulations are posted regarding park use, it is highly recommended that all dogs be current on vaccinations. It is also advisable that all dogs bear the appropriate required state license tag on their collars. Visitors to this park space laud its pristine cleanliness and attention to detail.
