Jackson Street Dog Park

How about taking your favorite pup outside to enjoy some off-leash time with the other dogs in the neighborhood? If you happen to live in Long Beach or have some time to visit, then be sure to stop by the Jackson Street Dog Park located here.

There is a total of nine dog parks in the Long Beach area which makes it easy to find some place to let Fido run. The Jackson Street Dog Park is in the North Long Beach community and offers on and off-street parking near the entrance.

This park is 0.14 acres, and although small, it will give your furever friend plenty to do. Let them romp with the large and small dogs in its one open space where all the dogs can kick up their heels and have fun. There are also benches where you can relax while enjoying watching your puptastic friend mingle with all the other dogs. The entire dog park is entirely fenced for your pup’s safety, and features double security gates at the entrance.

There are special doggie water fountains for Fido to drink out of. People fountains are on-site as well, but there are no restrooms here, so plan accordingly. The all-dirt footing makes for easy for paws to get some traction when they are racing or to dig those all-important holes (just be sure to refill them before you leave the park!)  Doggie clean up stations are provided, so make sure to make use of them to keep everyone happy!
