Kaufman Dog Park (at Kennedy Park)

Kauffman Dog Park is located within the family-centric Kennedy Park in Marion, Ohio. Housed on a portion of Kennedy Park's 26 acres, this dedicated dog space offers two fully fenced areas suitable for off-leash play. One of the two enclosures is reserved for use by small dogs. 

Although the runs are designated off-leash zones, dogs are required to remain on their leash when traveling to and from the enclosures as well as in all other areas of the park. Additionally, owners are also asked to carry a leash with them at all times in case of an emergency. 

Entrance to Kauffman Dog Park is free of charge. Bathroom facilities are available on-site for public use. Additionally, a plentiful supply of clean drinking water is accessible to help meet all of Fido's hydration needs during his playtime at the park. 

This pristine dog play haven was made possible through the generous donations of many community volunteers who possessed a vision for a safe place where dogs could receive proper socialization and appropriate play time. This park earns top honors among visitors for its cleanliness and beautifully landscaped grounds. Others remark favorably about its close proximity to town.

Benches are installed in various well-shaded areas of the park to provide an excellent vantage point from which owners can relax and enjoy viewing their dogs at play. For those wishing to engage in additional recreational activities, Kennedy Park offers a playground, softball field, basketball courts, a picnic shelter, a seniors' center, and tennis courts. 

It is unknown if complimentary poop bags are provided on the grounds. With this in mind, owners are asked to carry bags with them as Indiana state law mandates the removal and proper disposal of all canine waste materials. 

Though no additional rules govern the use of this favorite doggy play space, it is highly recommended that all dogs be current on vaccinations and bear the appropriate required state license tag on their collars. For a day Fido and the family will never forget, take a trip to Kauffman Dog Park!
