Morgan Hill Dog Park (in Community Park) is one of the most popular dog parks in Morgan Hill, California and for good reason. The park’s amenities, central location, large size, and all-around beauty make it one of the highest-rated dog parks in the area. It is just a twenty-five-minute drive from San Jose and according to the regular patrons who frequent the park - it is well worth it.

The dog park is located in a beautiful location, surrounded by lush greenery and tall, mature trees in and around the securely fenced, off-leash area. Unlike many parks that are flat, this dog park has scenic landscaping, with sloping hills, real grass, as well as some sandy areas for variety. 

Due to mainly being grass-covered, the park is closed for 24 hours after rainfall which protects the turf as well as prevents canines from getting muddy. Dogs are also not allowed to dig so make sure to discourage your pooch if you see the behavior.

The park has two large, separate, and labeled enclosures, one for small dogs and one for larger ones. Both are beautifully landscaped, covered in trees, lush green grass, red fire hydrants, and tennis balls. There are plenty of benches, covered picnic tables, and even a gazebo for dog owners to enjoy. 

Dog waste bag dispensers are conveniently located by the trash cans which are spread throughout the park. In case you forgot to bring a water bottle, don’t fret. The park is equipped with water fountains and even kiddie pools that are always filled in the summer.

On top of all of the above, there is plenty of parking and public bathrooms are conveniently located on the other side of the nearby tennis courts. With such beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities and friendly, considerate dog owners it is not surprising that everyone who visits this dog park becomes a regular.
