Red Dog Park - Cincinnati
Among the enclosures is one section reserved for use by dogs who are smaller in size, timid, or elderly who could benefit from a gentler play style. Though off-leash play is the focus of this facility, owners are asked to keep a leash handy as a precautionary measure.
Entrance to Red Dog Park, a private dog playground, is reserved for members only and is fee-based. Access to the property is granted to members in possession of a key. It is not known what the cost of a membership is; however, Red Dog Park officials require proof of vaccinations as well as visible identification and city dog license tags at the time of registration. Dogs are to wear flat collars in the runs, and the flat collar should show visible evidence of these tags at all times.
The dog play spaces at Red Dog Park are equipped with hilly terrain, which meanders through grassy areas suitable for running and walking paths through wooded sections. There is an abundance of comfortable seating where owners can relax and enjoy supervising their dogs. Water is provided via fountains throughout the park, and poop bags are plentiful. The management team expects all owners will clean up after their dogs.
In addition to the dog daycare and dog park facilities, Red Dog Pet Resort and Spa also offers boarding, grooming, training, pick up and delivery services, and even opportunities for swimming. The Red Dog Park does insist on certain rules for all dogs enjoying the playground areas. For the safety of all dogs in play spaces, only spayed or neutered dogs are permitted in the dog runs.
The park strictly prohibits the use of prong, choke, chain, or spike collars. Additionally, smoking, food, and glass containers are forbidden on the premises.
