Rock River Parkway Off Leash Area

The peaceful, historic city of Janesville is filled with tourist activities, landmarks, picturesque parks, and trails. It is a beautiful southern city of Wisconsin perfect for a family vacation or better yet, year round living. Janesville has a love for outdoor adventures and even their dogs have natural places to escape to. 

The Rock River Parkway Off-Leash Area is located between Rockport Road and Center Avenue. The park itself is considered an off-leash park. However, there are no fences in this park. It is highly recommended that your dog be good with voice commands if you visit this off-leash area. The park also has a beautiful trail for you and your dog to explore and take in some nature scenes. 

Keep in mind that outside of the off-leash area dogs must be leashed at all times. Rock River Parkway Off-leash area is open year round so whether you are just visiting or you live here, you will be able to enjoy this park anytime. It is encouraged that you always clean up after your dog and leave the park as you found it so that others can enjoy it as well. 

Dogs must have the proper license and tags when visiting Rock River Parkway. Dogs that are aggressive will be asked to leave the park. All in all, the Rock River Parkway Off-Leash Area is a great place for your dog to get in some much-needed exercise and fun.
