Santa Susana Pass Historic State Park sits where the Simi Hills come to touch the Santa Susana Mountains. It is perfect for anyone in the Los Angeles area. This park is a fabulous place to adventure in during any season. If you visit Santa Susana Pass State Park during the summertime, make sure to bring tons of water with you as it can get extremely hot. You also want to make sure you can handle the weather at this park before you head in. 

When you come and visit Santa Susana Pass Historic State Park, you will find many different types of amenities that are available for your enjoyment. You will find hiking trails, biking trails, horseback riding trails, picnic tables, picnic shelters, exhibit programs, and historical sites. 

You will also have open availability for a wide range of recreational activities. Dogs can also come to Santa Susana Pass Historic State Park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay. During your time in the Santa Susana Pass State Historic Park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the state park authorities. 

Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter Santa Susana Pass Historic State Park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to this park as Santa Susana Pass Historic State Park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. 

Pet parents should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in Santa Susana Pass Historic State Park. If you wish to camp, you must schedule a reservation.
