South Bend Dog Park

Located on a hilltop inside the 76-acre South Bend Park, the South Bend Dog Park features pawsome views of Atlanta's Lakewood Heights neighborhood amidst a furbulous play space just for pups! 

Enter the fully fenced dog park through the double-gated entryway, then take off the leash and let your dog run wild! With sections for big and little pooches, everyone can play safely with similarly sized peers. With soft grass to tread, and lots of trees that provide plenty of shade, this is a natural oasis right in heart of South Atlanta. Water fountains at both human and dog levels ensure everyone can stay hydrated, and kiddie pools are just pawfect for pups to splash in and cool down on those hot days.

There's plenty of room for pups to run out their energy here, and picnic tables provide a great place to relax while watching your dog cavort with canine pals. Clean-up bags and trash cans make it easy to promptly pick up whatever your pup leaves behind. Restrooms for the humans can be found at the pool next to the dog park, although dogs are prohibited in this area.

Before heading over for some furtastic off leash fun, be sure your dog is up to date on their vaccinations, and wearing a current ID tag on their collar. Keep the leash on while entering and exiting the dog park, and anywhere outside of it. 

Once your dog gets their fill of socializing, clip the leash back on and explore the rest of South Bend Park. With sports areas, a playground for the little two-leggeds in the pack, picnic shelters and a trail to trek, there's lots to explore with your adventure hound.
