Description
An oasis for dogs amidst a booming metropolis, the South Boston Bark Park offers a furbulous fenced-in play space where dogs can enjoy running and romping with friends completely off leash. Best of all, with its location so close to Carson Beach, the views are simply pawmazing!

This pupperdise has it all! With a separate section for small doggos, everyone can play with their own sized peers. Full fencing all around and a double-gated entry ensures dogs stay safe inside as they play. Dogs can traverse the gravel terrain that's shaded in many areas, cavorting with friends or running through agility tubes. Thirsty pups can take a break for a drink at the dog water fountain while you relax on one of the benches and enjoy the gorgeous views of the water to the south.

Since the park is on the smaller size, it can fill up quick in the middle of busy weekdays. If you have a shy doggo, try coming during the weekends or early mornings for more room to roam. Trash cans and clean-up bag dispensers are on site, making it a breeze to promptly stoop and scoop. Unfurtunately, there aren't any human restrooms near the dog park, but they can be found further down Carson's Beach.

One of the best features of the Bark Park is its close proximity to the dog-friendly Carson’s Beach, where your dog can kick up the sand on leash. It's just a short walk across Day Boulevard from the dog park, making a fitting end to a day of socializing with pup pals.

Keep in mind when visiting that parking is limited, with no parking allowed on sidewalks or along Day Boulevard, and no lot nearby. It's best to find a spot on the north side of Columbia Road and walk the short distance to the dog park. There's also parking at the beach, but it'll be a bit longer of a walk to get to the dog park. While free to access, your dog should be spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and wearing their City of Boston Dog License, ID and Rabies tags on their collars to play here.

When your dog is ready for an afternoon of fun, plan a trip to the South Boston Bark Park!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
