Walsingham Dog Park

Walsingham Dog Park is a fenced-in section of land, covered in mulch and dirt where dogs are encouraged to socialize and have fun. This park, affectionately known as Walsingham Paw Playground, houses several amenities and a decently sized section of the park where you can take your canine off-leash.

You will find two entrances to the park, one being on Walsingham Road and the other located on 102nd Avenue North. Bags are provided for cleanup as well as stations where disposal is available. They provide rinse off stations and watering holes so you can wash the dirt and mulch off as well as keep your canine hydrated.

You can take your canine with you through the remainder of the park but they must remain on their leash at all times once they have been removed from the fenced area. There is a section dedicated to small canines as well. Both fenced sections are in actuality quite large in comparison to most other parks. This gives your canine plenty of space to play and run.

Benches with backs are spread throughout the entire section, many under good foliage for shade. The park is very well maintained and has little obstacles set up for the dogs to play with. Aggressive behaviors are forbidden and the park takes calls seriously and if the rules are not being followed, people do get banned. 

The remainder of the park is gorgeous, with a plentiful amount of fishing, walking, playgrounds, picnic areas, and grills. There is even a 10-station fitness area located in the park and open for public use. The pier provides a great place to fish and a boat ramp is available for lake access for small boats (rowing, sailing, or electric only). Plenty of parking is available and free to the public. The total scale of the park is about 350 acres, 100 of those being the lake that divides the park in the center.
