Description

At Albert Moser Campground, campers can experience the pinnacle of Idaho’s outdoors scene. The campground is tucked away in Caribou-Targhee National Forest, an ideal setting for a furrific camping adventure! The forest covers parts of Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming, spanning nearly three million acres, and is known for its diverse wildlife and breathtaking natural features. You can enjoy this and much more while you camp at Albert Moser Campground, and one of the things you’ll enjoy the most is the company of your dog! The campground welcomes waggy tails.

Albert Moser Campground has nine sites total. You can choose a single or a double site, and the nightly fees are $14 and $25, respectively. Each site has a picnic table and campfire ring, and you have access to even more amenities at the campground, including drinking water and vault restrooms. Please note that this campground is designated a heavy usage spot by the US Forest Service, so it's best to make your reservation early to avoid disappointment.

Well-shaded by the surrounding cottonwood forest, the campground is a relaxing setting where you can unwind with your pooch and enjoy the surrounding scenery. It sits on the bank of the Cub River, a pawpular fishing location. If you want to venture out from the campground and check out some of the outdoor activities in the area, you’ll have plenty of places to choose from. There are numerous trails nearby and throughout Caribou-Targhee, and these serve as great hiking or wildlife viewing spots. Highline Trail is a popular choice — it spans over 45 miles and welcomes furry paws (on-leash).

Please remember to follow the campground’s rules throughout your stay. Pooches are required to be on-leash at all times, and make sure you clean up after your furry friend as well. Please note that trailers over 20 feet are not recommended at Albert Moser Campground, and off-road vehicle use is not allowed on the premises.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
