Dent Acres

Dent Acres is one of the most versatile campgrounds in northern Idaho. It offers visitors the opportunity for tent or RV camping, and it features an amazing setting and great amenities that make for a wonderful camping experience. Dent Acres sits beside the Dworshak Reservoir, offering campers not only a scenic view, but also access to the great aquatic activities available there. You’re sure to love all the grrr-eat features of Dent Acres, and one of its best features is that it welcomes furry paws at its campsites!

The campground has 50 sites. A standard site costs $20 per night, and group shelter and group standard sites are available as well for $40 and $50 per night, respectively. Each site is equipped with 50-amp electric hookups. The sites also have picnic tables and campfire rings with grills. You also have access to drinking water and a playground on the premises. Most, if not all, of the amenities at Dent Acres are accessible for campers with disabilities.

Your campsite is a nice place to kick back and relax, but there are lots of things to see and do in the surrounding area. Head over to the reservoir for boating and fishing, or stop by one of the forest’s many trails for hiking and wildlife viewing. Another cool point of interest nearby is Dent Bridge, the state’s largest cable suspension bridge. History buffs will enjoy the area’s neat museums.

When you’re camping at Dent Acres, be sure to follow the campground's rules. Your dog must remain leashed throughout your stay. Also be sure to clean up after your furry friend. On Labor Day, Memorial Day, and the Fourth of July weekends, the campground imposes a three-night minimum stay. Please remember that all the sites at Dent Acres are reservable, and there aren’t any walk-in sites -- you must reserve your site before arriving at the campground.
