The Little Ocmulgee Park sits in the beautiful state of Georgia, and it is ideal for anyone that is looking for a fantastic weekend away from home. This park is apart of the Little Ocmulgee Park Lodge, and this park dates back to around the 1930s. The area covers around 1,380 acres, and there is a lake that covers 256 acres for all types of water recreation.

When you come and visit the Little Ocmulgee Park, you will find many different types of amenities that are available for your enjoyment. You will find picnic tables, picnic shelters, campgrounds, lodging, an amphitheater, a group camp, a splash pad, a tennis court, golf course, beach, a swimming area, and availability for hiking, biking, fishing, and all other recreational activities. 

Dogs can also come to this park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay. During your visit to Little Ocmulgee State Park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the park. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the Little Ocmulgee Park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. 

All furbuddies and their humans must be well-mannered before they come to this park as the Little Ocmulgee Park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. Pet parents should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in the Little Ocmulgee Park. 

If you wish to camp or lodge at this park, you must schedule a reservation. Reservations can be made on the Little Ocmulgee Park's main website or in the park's main office. Overall, the Little Ocmulgee Park is a fabulous park that fosters adventure, social interaction, and pure fun.
