Ormewood Dog Yard

If you're look for a woofderful place to have fun and make some new furiends, bring Fido to spend some time at Ormewood Dog Yard. People and their pooches think it's the bomb! A doggy play space that was founded in 2006, Ormewood Dog Yard is run by a group of community volunteers with a like minded passion for providing a clean and safe place where doggoes can pawrty hardy! 

This pawrific doggy play haven is in the backyard of Ormewood Church that installed a fence to create the dog park. Your pooch can run, roughhouse, frolic, and play all without a lead in this pawsome play space. Do be sure to bring along a lead for travel to and from your car as well as in any other pawblic area. 

Ormewood Dog Yard is free for the pawblic and their pooches to enjoy. Donations are gratefully accepted and are used for dog park maintenance and future improvements. Volunteer labor is also appreciated. 

This pawsitively awesome doggy playground is a no frills zone, but it provides lots of room for your pooch to practice their best zoomies and make some new canine pals. You'll want to be sure you bring along some drinking water and cleanup bags, as none are available at Ormewood Dog Yard. In general, food is not permitted on the grounds, but you can bring bite-sized Scooby snacks for your pupperoni to enjoy. 

Ormewood Dog Yard gets quite muddy after a rainy day, so the park is closed when the weather is wet. It is also closed the day following any rain to help dry the area out and preserve the grass for all to enjoy. Dogs visiting Ormewood Dog Yard must be current on all vaccinations, healthy, and licensed with the city of Atlanta.
